Our journey is rooted in on-the-ground reality, evolving with every lesson learned and every partner empowered.
2020
The First Thread: Planting the Seed
It began with three friends, a shared vision, and a journey to the heart of Kaduna's markets. By listening to traders and farmers, we identified the first critical, missing thread: a reliable link between smallholder farmers and profitable, steady markets. We started by building that connection, providing essential training in Good Agricultural Practices and offering climate-smart storage to protect the harvest.
2021
Nurturing the Weave: Piloting Resilience
With our model taking shape, we launched a pilot project with 10 farmers in Chikun LGA. Despite regional challenges, we provided extension services and support, achieving an 85% success rate. This experience reinforced our belief that strong support systems and shared knowledge are the essential warp and weft of a resilient agricultural fabric.
2022
The Digital Thread: Embracing Data
We realized that to truly scale our impact, we needed a stronger, more intelligent thread. Data was the key. 2022 marked our strategic pivot to tech-enabled solutions. We began developing the tools to collect, analyze, and transform scattered information into a powerful engine for decision-making, unlocking access to finance and markets in ways previously impossible.
